Requirements & enable
- Pro/Enterprise Windows with virtualization on.
- Turn on Windows Sandbox in Windows Features.
- Reboot, then open Windows Sandbox from the Start menu.
- Copy the installer in, test, close Sandbox to wipe state.
If something fails
Missing from Home editions unless you add unofficial workarounds—prefer a spare VM if you are on Home.

No—closing Sandbox discards changes.

No. It limits blast radius; it is not a scanner.
