This COVID-19 Tracing App Handles User Privacy Differently From China
João (Johnny) Cartucho, a Ph.D. Researcher in Augmented Reality with Airbus, talks about a privacy-protecting pandemic app. According to the organizers, the Covidian tracker was created by volunteers in Ireland, Slovakia, Portugal, and Brazil with the help of medical experts to help stop the current pandemic. The app was first launched by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic and is, according to its organizers, expected to start operating in more countries.
