    One year since COVID-19 hit Australia | SBS News

    On January 25th, 2020, health officials discovered the first case of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, in Australia. A man from Wuhan, the Chinese city where the infection was first identified, had flown into Melbourne and tested positive to the disease.
