How to register for Covid-19 Vaccination
For “non-healthcare workers” you can download and use the Sehhaty app.
For “healthcare workers” download and use the Anat app. Both apps are available in android and ios.
Make an account then log in.
Click the “learn more” button under the covid vaccine tab, then answer all the necessary questions.
By the end of the questionnaire, the app will ask you if you are sure to proceed with the vaccination. Answer “Yes” if you want to proceed.
Your application will then be submitted.
Wait for few days and you will receive a text message saying that you can proceed with the booking or scheduling of your vaccination.
THIS IS THE TEXT MESSAGE I RECEIVED:
“Dear user, your COVID-19 vaccine appointments are confirmed on the following dates:
First vaccination dose on date 2021/01/03 at 05:00 PM
Second vaccination dose on date 2021/01/22 at 07:30 PM
Location for both appointments is
Please follow the guidelines provided in the app at the time of booking and ensure to attend both appointments, as the first dose will not be effective alone”
Once you receive your eligibility text message, open again your app then book from there.
There is no rush in booking. The message is just simply saying that your eligible to take the vaccine.
The app will give you the earliest 3 consecutive days option, but you can delay the booking if you have a target date you want to take the vaccine.
To complete the Covid-19 Vaccination you have to get two shots.
For the first shot you can choose the date and time for the vaccination but for the second shot the app will automatically generate the date and time as to when you will be taking the second dose. The second dose is actually 20 days after the 1st dose so be mindful with that.
The vaccine is free of charge.
My arm felt heavy and was painful for a good one day. The pain was tolerable but it felt uncomfortable, I can’t move my hand freely but other than that I feel perfectly fine.
